Black face mask for blackheads – my recipe

Do you know an adult who has never had a single black spot on their face? (Please, answer in the comments!) Of course, I do not ask this question every person I encounter, but I do not think it is possible to survive 18 years without any blackheads. Even if such people exist, they are certainly a minority, and every problem that concerns the majority should have at least one effective solution. In this case, it is a black mask. A black mask for blackheads attracts skin contamination like a magnet because it contains activated charcoal and a cleansing clay. As a result, it cleanses the skin of blackheads, tightens pores and smoothes out the face. Believe me, if you use it regularly, you will significantly improve the condition of your complexion. The black mask for blackheads is the best gift you can give to your impure skin. Here’s my recipe.

What are blackheads and why are they black?

Blackheads are small black pimples, which you certainly had a misfortune to experience. This is the scheme of their formation:

Abnormal exfoliation of the epidermis + sebum secreted through the skin → clogging of the hair follicles by keratinizing cells and sebum → blackheads

Usually, blackheads appear on the face, forehead, chin, and nose, less frequently on the back, neckline, neck, and shoulders. If they appear on their own, it means that they are a mild form of acne that affects most people regardless of age. To minimize this problem, look for creams and ointments containing benzoyl peroxide. Preparations based on this substance have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. However, if the blackheads accompany inflammatory changes, they should be treated pharmacologically.

Blackheads – causes

The formation of blackheads is promoted by improper skin care. With adequate hygiene, proper cleansing of the skin and regular exfoliation, you will reduce their occurrence. In addition to homemade scrubs, you can take advantage of a wide range of skin conditioning treatments offered by beauty salons, which offer, among others, exfoliation treatments with the use of acids.

The appearance of blackheads is also determined by cosmetics that tend to clog pores, by excessive perspiration, by dietary factors, by diseases and drugs that promote skin keratosis, and by some steroids.

Black mask for blackheads – my recipe

Last but not least: black mask for blackheads. It will also help you get rid of unwanted blemishes on your facial skin.

As I’ve mentioned before, the main components of the black mask for blackheads are activated charcoal and bentonite clay.

  • Activated charcoal (also carbon) is used primarily for stomach healing purposes, but also for skin care. It is used in the treatment of poisoning, nausea, and problems associated with the bile flow during pregnancy, and at the same time, it improves the condition of the skin, by removing blackheads.
  • Bentonite clay is one of the most effective clays in terms of cleansing properties. Applied topically, absorbs toxins and reduces the bacteria that cause acne.

The other ingredients of the mask are apple cider vinegar and water.

Components:

  • 2 capsules or 1/4 teaspoon of powdered activated carbon,
  • 1-2 teaspoons of bentonite clay,
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar,
  • 1-2 teaspoons of water.

Before you prepare the mask …

Remember to mix the mask in a wooden or plastic bowl and using a spoon made of these materials. This is important because carbon and clay attract toxins from metals. Before you apply the mask onto your face, run an allergy test on the wrist or on the skin behind your ear. Clean the skin with a lotion or toner and gently dry with a towel.

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients together to create a thick paste. Apply it either to the entire face except for the eye and mouth area, or to selected parts. Leave the mask on the skin for about 10 minutes and then wash it down with lukewarm water. If the skin appears to be too tight, apply a moisturizing cream.

Black mask for blackheads – my opinion

The black mask is my secret weapon in the fight against blackheads. It Ideally reduces the impurities from the pores, then narrows them and in effect, leaves the face smooth and cleansed. I treat myself to such a mask whenever I notice a large concentration of blackheads on my face, but not more often than once a week.
