Eyelash extension starter kit - ranking

Professional Lash Extension Kit – My Ranking of Products from Top Brands

Applying regular cluster lashes is a drama for me, so I decided to try if DIY lash extensions would be a better choice. I noticed that they seem quicker to apply based on the IG and TikTok reels I watched. I absolutely had to test them. You can easily buy this type of lashes along with the other products needed for applying them in a kit. Which of them worked best for me? Here is my ranking of the top 5 products from top brands, and that includes a lash extension kit that will definitely stay with me for a long time.

Professional eyelash extension kit – what should it contain?

An eyelash extension set, which involves applying false lashes underneath the natural ones, can be purchased in many drugstores. They are available in-store and online. However, this is a relative innovation, and therefore, I haven’t tested any of them yet. When I decided to create this ranking, I initially had quite a problem with which lash extension kits to choose. After some time, I decided that I would bet on the most popular sets and see if I had the same opinion about them as other users.

I wanted each starter kit for styling eyelashes to contain all the items needed for the application. I didn’t want to buy anything additional. Therefore, I looked for those that, in addition to the lashes, also contain special product for applying and fixing them, that is, a bonder and a sealer. I also made sure that a particular eyelash kit also came with an applicator. Interestingly, some brands also included a remover along with their products. One example is Nanolash. This product made it much easier to remove the lashes later.

Eyelash extension starter kit – ranking of 5 products!

My ranking includes 5 sets for styling eyelashes at home on your own. In addition to the previously mentioned kit from Nanolash, I also tested cluster lashes from brands like Kiss, Tatti Lashes, and Glamnetic. I considered how many cluster lashes are in the kit and what else is includes, how long the application lasts, and whether the lashes are durable. I share my findings below.

1. Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit

nanolash Cluster lashes for self application (DIY) - starter kit

This starter kit for eyelash extensions includes both the cluster lashes and all the supplies to perform the application. The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit contains 36 cluster lashes in three different lengths (10, 12, and 14 mm), a bonder and a sealer (2 packs of 5 ml each), an applicator, and a remover (5 ml pack).

I was immediately struck by the fact that this eyelash kit comes with everything nicely organized and labeled, which made the application much easier. I appreciated it especially because this was the first time I was testing this method. The cluster lashes from the DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit are very soft. The applicator, on the other hand, is very comfortable. As a result, it took me about 10 minutes to apply the lashes.

One starter kit was enough for 4 applications in my case. I was so satisfied that I was eager to put on the new lashes immediately after removing one lash style. The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit is available with lashes in eight styles including INNOCENT, DIVINE, and HEARTBREAKER, which is also a huge plus. The cluster lashes last for as long as a week, ensuring that a single starter kit from Nanolash lasts a long time.

2. KISS Falscara Starter Kit

This is an option from the KISS brand. This kit can be purchased even in regular drugstores. Unfortunately, the Falscara Starter Kit contains only 10 cluster lashes. In addition, the manufacturer includes only two products in the kit – BOND and SEAL. Nevertheless, its price is similar to the previous one.

However, the manufacturer assures that the lashes can be worn continuously for 10 days. What’s more, they are reusable and can be used up to 3 times by design.

To be able to wear them for that long, you need to protect them overnight every day with a dedicated product – OVERNIGHTER Long Wear Sealer. I wouldn’t have a problem with this, if it weren’t for the fact that this lash extension starter kit doesn’t include it. I had to buy it separately, and that’s no small expense. On the plus side, I have to say that the lashes looked very nice, and the application went quite smoothly.

3. Lashify Starter Kit

In the case of this kit, I was mainly surprised by the price. It cost me significantly more than the other products I tested for my ranking. Interestingly, despite the very high price, it contains only 10 lash clusters.

The Starter Kit from Lashify is a professional eyelash extension kit with quality confirmed by its high-end price tag. The included cluster lashes are soft and look great on the eyes. They are also great to apply, which made me really happy.

Lashify, like Nanolash, is a premium brand. Moreover, teh kit includes everything a woman needs for styling her lashes. Despite this, however, the price is considerably exorbitant for me. Especially since I used up all the lashes for one application. Nanolash cluster lashes were of comparable quality and cost much less. In addition, there were more of them, so as you can see, there is no need to overpay.

4. Tatti Lashes Invisi-Lash Kit

The Invisi-Lash Kit by Tatti Lashes fortunately came at a normal price. As the manufacturer assures, it can last for up to 4 to 8 applications. I have used it twice so far.

This DIY eyelash extension kit can be purchased with lashes on a clear or black strip. I chose option No. 2. In addition, Tatti Lashes provides a choice of one of 7 lash styles. On top of that, the brand has included an applicator, a small brush ,and two formulas. They are called Invisi-Lash Bond and Seal Glue.

I first applied the glue to my eyelashes and then glued the clumps on one by one. Everything went quite smoothly. According to the manufacturer, they should stay on my eyes for up to a week. I was a little disappointed when it turned out that with me it was definitely shorter.

5. Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit

The Lash Extension Kit is the last lash-styling kit I reviewed. The Glamnetic brand, like Nanolash, included not only Bonder, Sealer, and an applicator, but also Remover in addition to the cluster lashes. It made it much easier for me to remove the false lashes.

The eyelash clusters in this set came in a variety of styles to choose from. According to the information I found earlier, they should last up to 5 days. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you if this is the case, as I removed them sooner. The clusters looked nice on the producer’s website, but in real life, they don’t look so good anymore. All this made me feel quite uncomfortable wearing them and after 2 days, I removed them. I’m not likely to give them another chance.

Which DIY starter kit impressed me the most?

There were quite a few products I tested, and some lashes stayed on really well, which made me take almost two months to create the ranking. Thanks to this, however, I can now recommend an at-home lash extension kit that will definitely work well. In addition, I will also no longer be in doubt about which product to buy myself in the future. As many of you may have guessed, I was most impressed with the DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit by Nanolash.

Why exactly did I choose this one? It has the best value for money. In addition, it didn’t actually cause me any problems, and despite the fact that I tested it for a long time, I still have a few clusters left. As for the rest of the sets, I had different experiences. Especially when applying the glue, which did not always have the right consistency. Of course, this is my subjective opinion, and I leave it up to you to choose which kit would work for you.
