All About Brow Gel + Nanobrow Lamination Gel Review

I have good news for you: today’s post is from the series “I’d like to recommend something” which I know you like a lot. This time I’d like to review a great brow-styling gel. This wonder worker comes from Nanobrow – an expert brand that specializes primarily in eyebrows, although the online store also offers a great lash serum. All in all, brows and lashes go hand in hand, so it’s logical… but let’s get to the point. Here is my review plus a handful of facts about brow gel in general.

What is a brow gel?

This is not rocket science to guess that brow gel is a product designed to define.. eyebrows 🙂 There are both transparent and tinted versions to choose from. Of course, transparent brow gel gives a slightly different makeup effect as it doesn’t add color to the eyebrows. It is also less intense. Eyebrow gel resembles a traditional brow mascara, but of course, it comes with a smaller and more precise brush.

Why should you use a brow gel?

I think each of you has their own reasons to have brow gel in your makeup bag, but here is a list of mine:

Dear readers, you can choose between a transparent version and beautiful, natural-looking shades (the gel comes in 3 color versions). Using the gel, you can easily get the laminated brow effect without getting the actual pricey treatment!
When choosing a tinted version, be guided by the natural color of your eyebrows. Your brow gel should be as similar as possible, and if you feel like having a little fun with your brow makeup (I always do!), you can combine different shades, creating new ones. I like this product for the long-wear effects it provides and the precise brush which is SUPERB for separating and styling brow hairs. It is so refined that your makeup basically just does itself! 😀 And of course, this brow gel also works great for conditioning eyebrows, as I have mentioned before.

It’s simple: eyebrow gel will come in hand… basically anytime 🙂 For example, if you want to set your brow makeup and define your eyebrows to ensure they don’t look too flat. Or, if you have thin eyebrows and want to boost their volume… or maybe the other way around: they are thick and you need to tame and keep them in check? Generally, I use it as a finishing touch to my complete makeup to avoid spoiling my brow look with foundation or powder. Sometimes I use the tinted version or I like to combine two shades when I feel like playing with my makeup a bit. Sometimes, I just use the transparent version to set my complete makeup done with another brow makeup product.
